About the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards

Orange County is a beautiful and vibrant community, thanks in large to part to the nonprofits that provide basic needs, educate our children, cultivate the arts, preserve the environment, and shape a healthier future for all. None of that could be done without dedicated and passionate volunteers.

This blog is filled with stories of outstanding volunteers.  They, along with the nonprofits and businesses they represent, make Orange County an even better place to live.

You can scroll through the many blog posts to read about the 2018 volunteer honorees, or use the search bar to search for a specific honoree.

OneOC’s Spirit of Volunteerism Awards provides an annual forum and non-competitive opportunity to recognize volunteers for their dedicated service to our community. Established in 1976, the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards is proud to be the oldest awards program in Orange County recognizing and celebrating the major involvement of individual, team and corporate volunteers.
